Haricot Bean

It is one of the most important grain legumes grown in the low lands of Ethiopia, particularly in the rift valley. Several varieties of them are consumed in Ethiopia, usually mixed with other cereals. Haricot beans are a type of white bean that are small, oval-shaped, and have a mild flavor. They are also known as navy beans, pearl haricot beans, Boston beans, white pea beans, or pea beans.
